// GEO AGENCY IN SINGAPORE
The GEO Agency That
Gets You Recommended by AI
Your competitors rank on Google. Generative AI recommends someone else. You've done the SEO work and you're on page one, but when prospects in Singapore ask ChatGPT or Gemini "best [your category] for [use case]" the answer summarizes a competitor and not you.
Novastacks is the Singapore GEO agency that fixes that.
// THE GEO SHIFT
The GEO Shift Is Already Here in Singapore
Search behavior has changed. Buyers now read the answer a generative AI engine writes for them. The numbers below show why a GEO agency is now a serious line item for any Singapore business.
Singapore ranks second globally in AI adoption. 60.9% of the working-age population uses AI.
Microsoft AI Diffusion Report, 2025
Singapore has the world's highest per-capita ChatGPT usage.
OpenAI, 2025
Consumers now choose generative AI over traditional search for product discovery and evaluation. 35% use AI to discover products versus 14% who use search (global).
Similarweb, 2026
// WHY GEO MATTERS HERE
Why Every Business in Singapore Needs GEO
Singapore buyers are among the heaviest AI-search users on the planet. They no longer scroll a list of ten blue links. They ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews for a recommendation, then act on the answer those engines generate for them.
That changes the rules. If a generative AI engine does not know your brand, or does not trust it enough to summarize and recommend it, you are simply invisible to that buyer. It does not matter how well you rank in traditional results if the AI never puts you in the answer it writes.
GEO is how you become the recommended answer. It is the work of making your brand the source generative AI engines summarize and put forward when someone in your category asks for help, and while the citation window in most Singapore categories is still open, it compounds faster than the same effort spent on rankings alone.
// GEO VS SEO
GEO vs SEO: What's the Difference?
SEO earns rankings and clicks in Google's traditional results. GEO earns inclusion and recommendation inside the answers generative AI engines produce. They are not rivals, they are complementary.
Search Engine Optimization
- →Goal: rank in Google's list of blue link results
- →Success metric: rankings, clicks, and organic sessions
- →Core signals: backlinks, keyword targeting, page experience
- →The user clicks a link and lands on your site
Generative Engine Optimization
- →Goal: get summarized and recommended inside AI-generated answers
- →Success metric: AI recommendations, share of voice, prompt visibility
- →Core signals: authoritative content, structured data, authority, trust
- →The AI synthesizes your brand into the answer it recommends
The two work together. Strong SEO content gives GEO the raw material it needs, and GEO turns that content into AI recommendations. We run both as one system so your brand is visible whether buyers search the old way or read the answer a generative AI engine writes.
// THE VISIBILITY SPLIT
The Visibility Split Is Happening Now
of B2B software buyers now start research with an AI chatbot more often than with Google
of brand mentions inside AI answers come from domains the brand does not own
rely on an AI chatbot somewhere in the software research process
This isn't a future problem. It's a today problem.
Your prospects are asking generative AI for recommendations right now. "Best project management software for remote teams." "Top logistics platforms for mid-market companies." If the AI doesn't synthesize your brand into the answer, you're not in the consideration set.
// THE COST OF WAITING
Every Month You Wait, AI Learns to Recommend Your Competitors
Generative AI models update their knowledge monthly. Each refresh is a chance to be summarized and recommended, or a chance to be forgotten.
You skip
Competitor A gets summarized into the answer for your core query. You don't notice because it doesn't show up in Google Analytics.
Pattern reinforced
Generative AI models reinforce the pattern. Competitor A becomes the "default recommendation" for your category. The more they get recommended, the more they get recommended.
3x harder to break
Breaking the pattern now costs 3x the effort. You're not just optimizing, you're overcoming established AI preferences.

// OWN RESEARCH
We Publish Our Own GEO Research
Most agencies quote someone else's benchmarks. In April 2026 we ran 500 real buyer queries through Google AI Overview, ChatGPT and Perplexity, crawled every page the engines surfaced, and analysed 6,083 unique cited URLs. The four studies below are the result, published in full on this site with the methodology and the limitations stated openly.
It is also why our recommendations differ from the standard playbook: they come from measured citation behaviour, not from repeating what other agencies publish.
// STUDY
AI Search Isn't One Channel. It's Three.
94.2% of cited pages appeared in exactly one engine, and not one page was cited by all three.

The Pages That Win Everywhere
Only 15% of pages that rank in Google's top 10 also earn an AI citation. The dual winners link out to sources twice as often.

Every AI Engine Plays by a Different Rulebook
80.8% of ChatGPT-cited pages carry schema markup, against 48.4% for Google AI Overview. FAQ schema separated nothing.

One Deep Page per Question
89.6% of cited pages won exactly one query. No page in the study won more than 8 of 500.

They Were Ranking #3.
AI Was Recommending Their Competitor.
A logistics SaaS company came to us with a problem they couldn't explain: they ranked on page one, but sales conversations kept revealing prospects had talked to a competitor who "came recommended." When we tested their queries in ChatGPT and Gemini, the generative AI engines were summarizing the competitor into the answer. They weren't.
We keep client numbers private while our client roster is small. What we publish instead: brand audits showing how AI engines rank a category, and a free AI visibility audit you can run on your own site.
// WHAT WE IMPLEMENTED
- 01 Fixed renderability on the priority pages Their key pages only assembled in the browser, so AI crawlers, which do not execute JavaScript, were receiving an empty shell. We moved that content into the initial HTML response. Nothing else on this list can work until a crawler can actually read the page.
- 02 Rebuilt the internal link architecture AI crawlers fetch a far smaller slice of a site than Googlebot does, so depth decides what gets read. We put every priority page within one to two clicks of the homepage through real links, and cross-linked related pages so each topic cluster could be discovered without relying on the homepage.
- 03 Deployed schema as a universal machine language Most sites stop at the handful of types Google renders. We marked up the business, products, pages and authors so every crawler gets the same structured description, not just the one engine that shows rich results. Schema prevalence differs sharply by engine: 80.8% of ChatGPT-cited pages carry it against 48.4% for Google AI Overview.
- 04 Restructured content around buyer intent Engines break one prompt into several sub-questions and retrieve for each. We rebuilt the pages so each one owns a single real buyer question with its full context, answered in the opening lines rather than the conclusion.
- 05 Attributed the expertise Named authors with verifiable credentials, linked profiles and Person markup connecting them to the work. Engines favour claims they can attribute to someone accountable.
- 06 Integrated citeable statistics Replaced adjectives with specific numbers, each attributed to a named source and dated. A machine assembling a sourced answer can quote a figure; it cannot quote a superlative.
Steps 1 to 3 make the site readable and discoverable to machines. Steps 4 to 6 decide whether what they read is worth quoting. GEO did not replace their SEO, it compounded it: same rankings, new discovery channel.
// INDUSTRIES
Which Industries Need GEO in Singapore?
GEO works anywhere customers ask generative AI for recommendations. These are the eight verticals we run dedicated playbooks for; each card links to how we work in that industry, including which AI engines actually answer its buyers, based on our own 500-query research.
E-commerce
Product pages, comparison content and buying guides become assets AI can quote and recommend when shoppers ask what to buy. Commercial intent is the one query type where all three engines answer, so ecommerce has the widest GEO surface of any vertical.
"best [product type] for [specific need]"
Explore E-commerce services →SaaS
AI compresses tool comparisons into 2 to 3 recommended vendors. GEO puts your product inside that consideration set before a prospect ever visits your site.
"best [category] software for [use case]"
Explore SaaS services →B2B Services
Decision-makers ask AI for shortlists. GEO gets your firm summarized into that shortlist for the exact services you sell, before the first website visit.
"best [service type] agency for [industry]"
Explore B2B services →Healthcare
Patients ask AI before they ask a clinic website. For health questions the contest is Google AI Overview and Perplexity, both answering 90+ of every 100 queries in our study, so a focused two-engine strategy wins.
"best [treatment] clinic in Singapore"
Explore Healthcare services →Financial Services
Money questions are YMYL: AI answers lean on authoritative sources, and the contest is AI Overview plus Perplexity. GEO builds the entity trust those engines require.
"best [product] for [goal] in Singapore"
Explore Financial Services services →Hotels & Hospitality
Travelers ask AI where to stay. Perplexity returned citations on 100 of 100 local queries in our study, so hospitality visibility concentrates in one engine most brands ignore.
"where to stay in [area] Singapore"
Explore Hotels & Hospitality services →Real Estate
Location intent is Perplexity territory: 100 of 100 local queries returned citations there against 10 for Google AI Overview. GEO points your listings and guides at the engine doing the answering.
"best neighbourhood to rent in Singapore"
Explore Real Estate services →Law Firms
Legal questions are YMYL plus local: the engines that answer are AI Overview and Perplexity, and they cite cautious, well-structured explainers. GEO earns that trust for your practice areas.

The Question Isn't
"Does GEO Work?"
Half of B2B software buyers now open their research in an AI chatbot rather than Google, and 71 percent use one somewhere in the process (G2, 1,076 buyers, March 2026). The answer they read is assembled before they ever choose a link.
The question is: how long can a Singapore business afford to be left out of the answers generative AI writes? Work with a GEO agency that gets you summarized and recommended.
