Key Takeaways

  • Ten agencies with a Singapore address and an AI search offering were compared on five criteria, using quotes from their own pages fetched in October 2026.
  • Novastacks is first because this is our list and our pick. The other nine are ordered by the strength of their published healthcare evidence; Brew Interactive (second), Hashmeta (third) and OOm (fourth) show the strongest.
  • Only Brew Interactive, Hashmeta and OOm show named healthcare clients with search results, and only Hashmeta's case also reports a mention in an AI answer. Most other healthcare evidence on this list is web design, social media work, talks or guides, and each entry says which.
  • Four agencies publish prices for AI search work: MediaPlus Digital (GEO from about S$1,000 a month, core programme from S$2,500), Stridec (GEO from S$2,500 a month), Mapletree Media (a retainer from SGD 4,000 a month) and Hashmeta (retainers from US$1,500 a month).
  • Clinic marketing in Singapore is bound by the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 and the SMC Ethical Code. The clinic carries responsibility for what its agency publishes.

A clinic owner in Singapore now has two places to be found. Patients still search Google for a treatment or a specialist, and more of them ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity which clinic to see. Answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) are the work of getting a clinic named and cited in those AI answers. Any agency that writes for the clinic has to work inside the Ministry of Health advertisement regulations and the Singapore Medical Council Ethical Code, and the published lists of healthcare agencies rarely show what their picks have actually done for clinics.

Short answer

The top picks for AI SEO and AEO in Singapore healthcare are Novastacks (method and AI search depth, no published healthcare case study yet), Brew Interactive (named clinic clients with search results) and Hashmeta (a named TCM clinic with Google search results and a mention in Google's AI Overview). OOm, Construct Digital, Impossible Marketing, MediaPlus Digital, BThrust, Stridec and Mapletree Media complete the ten.

1. What is AI SEO and AEO for healthcare?

AI SEO for healthcare is the work of getting a clinic or healthcare brand named, and its pages cited, when patients ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Copilot a question about a treatment, a specialist or a provider. It builds on SEO. Google rankings still matter, because AI assistants pull many of their sources from pages that already rank well.

You will also see it called AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) or GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). Agencies use different names for the same work, so this article uses each agency's own term.

How is AI SEO and AEO measured for healthcare?

Three measures cover most of what a clinic needs to know. Ask any agency to report all three, for each AI assistant, every month.

MeasureWhat it showsHealthcare example
AI Visibility RateHow often an AI assistant names your brand in its answer, across the buyer questions you trackAn illustrative example with made up figures: if ChatGPT names a clinic in 7 of 20 tracked questions about a treatment, its AI Visibility Rate on ChatGPT is 35%
AI Citation RateHow often the answer links to, or quotes, a page on your website as a sourceAn assistant can quote a clinic's treatment page or doctor profile and still name another clinic, so track both measures side by side
AI performance in Search Console and BingGoogle Search Console has a Generative AI performance report with impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode. Bing Webmaster Tools shows the queries where Copilot and Bing AI answers used your pages. Both are free and come from the search engines themselvesCheck which treatment and specialist queries bring impressions from AI answers

AI answers change from one run to the next, so each question should be checked several times and reported as a range.

What clinics ask when they look for an agency

The queries below reached novastacks-ai.com in Google Search Console data pulled for this article in October 2026, sorted by impressions:

QueryImpressions
medical seo services287
seo services for doctors85
seo agency for healthcare84
seo services for healthcare82
healthcare seo consultant81
aeo for telehealth34
seo services for medical centers14
medical seo agency10
chatgpt aeo for healthcare6

Some of the longer queries in the same data read like prompts typed into an AI assistant, for example how an AEO audit of medical content differs from a traditional SEO audit. The engines also treat health questions differently from each other. In our study of citations across three AI engines (500 queries, US market, English, April 2026), Google AI Overviews returned citations on 90% of health and money queries, Perplexity on 99% and ChatGPT on 0%.

The advertising rules that shape every clinic page

Two sets of rules shape every clinic page. The Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 bind the licensed clinic. The Singapore Medical Council Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines (2016 edition) bind the doctor. Our guide to the MOH and SMC advertising rules for Singapore clinic marketing sets out each clause. The points below are checked against the official documents.

  • The content SEO promotes is regulated. The Ministry of Health FAQ on the advertisement regulations says SEO is not considered advertising because the process does not in itself encourage use of a healthcare service. The content it promotes must comply, an SEO platform that shows patient reviews and ratings counts as an advertisement, and paid search is governed by the regulations.
  • Before and after images are out. The MOH FAQ says advertisements must not feature "before-and-after" or only "after" treatment photos, even with disclaimers, and lists them as soliciting use of the service. The SMC Ethical Code says doctors must not use "before" and "after", or even only "after", images in medical advertising in the public domain, because anecdotal cases create unjustified expectations.
  • Reviews and testimonials are narrow. The MOH FAQ allows a clinic website to display a testimonial the patient gave directly to the clinic, and allows reviews only where they are organic, unpaid, unsolicited, unmodified and not reproduced by the clinic or its agency. The SMC Ethical Code says testimonials must not be used in advertising on any media where the doctor has any control over the content about themselves.
  • The SMC standard reads as a checklist. Medical advertising must be factual, accurate, verifiable, not misleading, not unduly persuasive, not laudatory, not comparative and not disparaging, among twelve listed standards.
  • The clinic answers for its agency. The MOH FAQ says the onus is on the licensee to rectify or withdraw a non compliant advertisement published by an authorised person, and the authorised person commits an offence if it does not act after being told.

What an agency must handle for a clinic

So an agency working for a clinic has to handle four things together: copy that passes the MOH and SMC rules before it ships, doctor and treatment pages written in a neutral factual tone, structured data, and reporting for each AI engine on its own.

How these agencies were chosen and ordered

The pool started from three published healthcare agency lists and a set of known Singapore agencies. An agency needed a Singapore address and an AI search offering on its own pages. Four agencies that appear in other clinic lists, Cleverly, First Page Digital, Heroes of Digital and MediaOne, blocked our fetches in October 2026, so we could not check their pages and left them out. We then looked at each agency on five criteria:

  1. Healthcare proof. Whether the agency shows a named healthcare client with a search result, or a healthcare page, healthcare guides or healthcare work outside search, or names healthcare only as a sector.
  2. AI search capability (AEO and GEO). Whether the agency has a dedicated AI search service, a named system or platform, or AI search as its stated focus, or lists AEO, GEO or AI SEO among its services.
  3. Singapore presence. A Singapore address, and whether the agency also publishes a registration number, a headquarters or its years operating in Singapore.
  4. Transparency of method and pricing. Whether the agency publishes how the AI search work is done and what it costs.
  5. Evidence quality. Whether claims link to primary or public sources a reader can check, are claims the agency reports about itself (testimonials, case studies, awards, talks), or are positioning statements only.

The order follows a plain rule. Novastacks is first because this is our list and our pick, and we say so. The other nine are ordered by the strength of their published healthcare evidence, then by their AI search capability, then by evidence quality, with alphabetical order where those are level. Healthcare evidence has the three levels in criterion 1: a named healthcare client with a search result (Brew Interactive, Hashmeta and OOm), then a healthcare page, healthcare guides or healthcare work outside search, then healthcare named only as a sector. AI search capability has two levels: a dedicated AI search service page, a named system or platform, or AI search as the stated focus, ahead of AEO, GEO or AI SEO listed among other services. Evidence quality follows criterion 5, so case studies, testimonials and talks the agency reports rank ahead of guides. Brew Interactive, Hashmeta and OOm are level on AI search capability and evidence quality, so they appear in alphabetical order. The other seven all sit at the second healthcare level. Construct Digital, Impossible Marketing, MediaPlus Digital and BThrust each have a dedicated AI search service page, and Stridec states AI search as its focus. Mapletree Media covers AEO on its SEO services page, a page for SEO with AEO included, so we count it as AEO listed among other services, and that step places it last. Among the other five, Construct Digital (a testimonial and a case study), Impossible Marketing (a talk) and MediaPlus Digital (case studies) come ahead of BThrust and Stridec (guides), and alphabetical order decides within each group. The evidence type column in the table above shows the healthcare evidence each agency publishes.

Every client result quoted below is the agency's own claim, and we did not verify any result with the client. Several items came from page titles in sitemaps, and those entries say so.

All 10 agencies

The Novastacks entry comes first and follows the card on our AI SEO agency comparison. Every other entry has the same parts: what the agency does, its healthcare evidence with a link to the source page, who it suits, its pricing and one limitation.

1Novastacks Operator-led. Agent-powered.

Novastacks homepage
Novastacks homepage. Visit site →

Best for: clinics and healthcare groups that want Google ranking and AI answer work run on a published method, with copy checked against the advertising rules.

What's distinctive: SEO and AEO run as one programme on a published method. Senior marketing operators direct Novastacks AI Search OS, the proprietary agentic system Novastacks built for AI search, so one team brings senior judgment and execution at scale. Founder Tina Chu spent 18+ years leading growth at Tencent, Expedia, Klook, Traveloka and Cabital; Head of AEO Eki Riandra is a Google Product Expert.

Engagement model: a senior engagement lead sets priorities, checks the work and is accountable for it. Each programme is configured per market and per language, in English and Chinese, with its own set of buyer questions.

Healthcare evidence: No published healthcare case study yet. Novastacks offers healthcare AEO, GEO and SEO services in Singapore, where, for a clinic, what goes in starts with the clinic's treatment and service information and what patients search, and senior specialists verify claims before anything is published. Novastacks also publishes a guide that quotes the advertisement regulations and the SMC Ethical Code clause by clause, linked in section 1.

Watch outs: we do not publish prices; you get a quote after the free audit. There is no published healthcare case study yet.

How the method works

Four layers, each feeding the next: what goes in, what determines your AEO strategy and tactics, what gets built, and what you get. Read The Novastacks Methodology.

2Brew Interactive: clinic marketing with SEO and GEO

Brew Interactive homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: Brew Interactive's homepage lists creative, SEO, GEO, paid media, content and social services, and says the agency was founded in 2009. Its AEO agency page, headed "AEO Agency in Singapore", names Google's AI Overview, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity and Claude as the AI tools it optimises for. Its contact page lists 111 North Bridge Road.

Healthcare evidence: a medical clinic marketing page and a healthcare marketing agency page. The clinic page offers "AI Search Visibility (GEO)" and names clinic results: for International Cancer Specialists, "#1 SEO rankings for "breast cancer," "lung cancer," "prostate cancer" searches" and "131 qualified conversions in 9 months"; for About Braces, an orthodontic clinic, a "205% increase in organic traffic". These are the agency's own claims.

Best for: specialist clinics and health brands that want SEO, GEO and paid media under one agency.

Pricing: not published on its homepage, contact page or grant packages page.

Limitation: its clinic results are search rankings, traffic and enquiries; we found no AI answer result for a clinic.

3Hashmeta: AI search beside social and creators

Hashmeta homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: Hashmeta, headquartered in Singapore at Kallang Place, says on its homepage: "Our teams combine SEO, GEO and AEO for search, Xiaohongshu and TikTok for social, and KOL and KOC programmes for creators". Its about page says it was founded in 2012 and works with Hashmeta AI, "a standalone company founded by the same team, whose platform measures and improves how AI engines see a brand." Hashmeta AI's own site describes it as "Part of Hashmeta", so this entry covers both.

Healthcare evidence: a named clinic client with a search result. Hashmeta AI's Aimin TCM Clinic case study covers a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in Singapore and reports that "In three months its site was shown 278K times in Google", with Google Search Console data from 3 January to 2 April 2026, and that Google's AI Overview for "arthritis tcm singapore" lists Aimin among the notable TCM providers in Singapore. Hashmeta also shows a case study for Parkway Cancer Centre, which is a social media campaign reporting an engagement rate above 4% and is not SEO work. Its blog carries guides titled Why Clinics Must Use AEO For Medical Search Queries and Why Aesthetic Clinics Need GEO To Appear In AI Answers.

Best for: clinics and aesthetic groups that want SEO, GEO and AEO alongside Xiaohongshu, TikTok and creator programmes.

Pricing: published on the Hashmeta AI pricing page: managed SEO, AEO and GEO retainers at US$1,500, US$5,000 or US$10,000 a month, with a 12 month minimum.

Limitation: its one search result for a clinic covers three months, and the AI Overview mention is a single search shown on the case study page.

4OOm: broadest healthcare footprint

OOm homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: OOm runs SEO and GEO under an "SEO x GEO" menu, and its GEO content framework page offers to "help brands earn AI search visibility". Its contact page lists OOm Pte Ltd, Reg No 200617554M, at 1 Grange Road, Orchard Building, Singapore.

Healthcare evidence: a named clinic client with a search result, one of three agencies on this list to show one. OOm has a Healthcare and Medical Clinics Marketing Agency page that names hospitals, medical groups, TCM clinics, fertility clinics, dermatologists, oncologists and physiotherapists as sectors served. The same page carries a testimonial from the founder of East Coast Podiatry Centre: "We now have over 50 out of 60 keywords ranking on the first page". That result is the client's statement on OOm's page. OOm's sitemap also lists a post on PHMC advertisement guidelines for the medical industry; we saw the title only.

Best for: clinics and specialists that want an agency with the broadest verified healthcare footprint, from hospitals to aesthetics, plus SEO and GEO under one roof.

Pricing: not published on the pages we fetched.

Limitation: no published price, and its regulation post, going by its title, refers to the older PHMC rules.

5Construct Digital: B2B health and medtech firms

Construct Digital homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: Construct Digital's homepage says: "SEO and GEO for enterprise B2B. Your buyers search Google and ask ChatGPT." Its GEO service page is headed "Generative Engine Optimisation: Get Cited in AI Search". Its contact page lists CT Hub 2.

Healthcare evidence: one testimonial from Nicole Loy, Senior Marketing Manager at Merz Aesthetics: "I'm really glad I chose such a competent agency partner to work with and am very pleased with the work being produced thus far." The testimonial does not say whether the work was SEO. Its Ultherapy case study for Merz Aesthetics is a festive social campaign with 49 influencers and three hero videos, reporting a "58% sales uplift, year on year".

Best for: medical device, pharma and health tech companies that sell to businesses and need SEO plus GEO. This fit is our reading of its B2B positioning and the Merz Aesthetics testimonial.

Pricing: not published.

Limitation: its healthcare result comes from a social campaign, and we found no clinic case study on its case studies page.

6Impossible Marketing: local SEO team adding GEO and AEO

Impossible Marketing homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: Impossible Marketing's homepage describes "combining traditional SEO with innovations like Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)" and says it is "Proudly 100% locally owned" and has helped Singapore businesses since 2012. Its AI SEO service page is headed "Transform Your Business with AI SEO". Its contact page lists 14A Yan Kit Road.

Healthcare evidence: a talk. Impossible Marketing gave an SEO and GEO talk at Parkway East Hospital on 18 July 2025, "With doctors in attendance". Its sitemap lists posts on aesthetic clinic marketing, PHMC marketing guidelines and medical SEO; we saw the titles only.

Best for: hospital doctors and clinics that want an SEO team adding GEO and AEO.

Pricing: its homepage FAQ gives general Singapore cost ranges (SEO from $1,500 a month for SMEs; $3,000+ for finance or legal); it does not state its own package price. The homepage also invites SMEs to "Claim Up To 50% Support With The EDGE Grant". That is the agency's claim; confirm EDGE Grant eligibility with Enterprise Singapore before you budget on it.

Limitation: its healthcare evidence is a talk and post titles, with no named clinic client or result.

7MediaPlus Digital: clinic websites plus priced GEO

MediaPlus Digital homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: MediaPlus Digital, with its Singapore headquarters at Paya Lebar Square and "13+ Years of Experience", sells web design, SEO and GEO. Its AI SEO services page says MediaPlus Digital "helps your brand become easier to find, understand and cite across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews".

Healthcare evidence: a page on digital marketing for healthcare, and two clinic case studies that are web design work: Belleza Aesthetics and Lion Health Medical; both report design outcomes such as "100% Mobile Responsive Design". MediaPlus also publishes a top 10 list of healthcare marketing agencies that ranks itself first and has a section on the healthcare advertising rules.

Best for: clinics that need a website rebuild plus GEO at a published price.

Pricing: published on its AI SEO services page: a starter GEO add-on "from about S$1,000 per month and a core programme from S$2,500 per month", with enterprise work "quoted individually".

Limitation: its clinic case studies are web design, and we found no healthcare search result on its pages.

8BThrust: SEO with medical SEO guides

BThrust homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: BThrust's homepage title names SEO, AI SEO and PPC among its services, and the page says it has worked from Ubi Techpark since 2014. Its AI SEO service page is titled "AI SEO Singapore". Its contact page lists 10 Ubi Crescent.

Healthcare evidence: guides. The homepage has a Healthcare and Medical tile, BThrust publishes a Medical Clinic SEO Guide, and its sitemap lists guides on SEO for aesthetic clinics, doctors and hospitals.

Best for: clinics, aesthetic practices and hospitals that want an SEO and AI SEO agency that has written about their sector.

Pricing: not published on the pages we fetched.

Limitation: no named healthcare client or result on its homepage or case study page.

9Stridec: Google AI Overviews focus

Stridec homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: Stridec's about page says: "Stridec is a specialist SEO agency focused on one thing: getting brands cited in Google AI Overviews." It describes itself as an SEO agency in Singapore since 2001 and says "The team is small and deliberately so." Its contact page gives an address at CT Hub 2, Lavender Street, and UEN 201222626W.

Healthcare evidence: guides only. Stridec publishes AI SEO for Healthcare in Singapore: HSA and MOH Considerations and AEO for healthcare. Its list of AI SEO agencies for healthcare websites ranks itself first beside six US agencies. We found no named clinic client on the pages we fetched.

Best for: healthcare operators who want content aimed at Google AI Overviews, with a published starting price.

Pricing: published on its homepage: GEO "from S$2,500 a month".

Limitation: no named healthcare client and no healthcare result on its pages.

10Mapletree Media: websites plus SEO, GEO and AEO for doctors

Mapletree Media homepage
Homepage, captured October 2026

What they do: Mapletree Media's homepage says one team "runs SEO, GEO, and AEO as one strategy" and claims "20+ Years, 3,000+ Brands". Its contact page lists UB.One, 81 Ubi Avenue 4.

Healthcare evidence: an industry page for doctors listing "Healthcare & Doctors partners", and a case study for Anna Ho Clinic, an aesthetic and dermatology clinic in Malaysia, whose website Mapletree Media revamped. That case is web design for a Malaysian clinic. A second case, for Thomson Medical, a Singapore private healthcare provider, describes web design, content and SEO work for one of its business units, with no figures.

Best for: doctors and aesthetic clinics that want a website plus SEO, GEO and AEO from one team.

Pricing: published on its SEO services page: a monthly retainer at "SGD 4,000 /month" on a 12 month term (SGD 4,500 on 6 months), which includes "monthly AI citation tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews".

Limitation: its Thomson Medical case publishes no search figures, and its other named clinic case is a Malaysian website project.

3. How much does AI SEO & AEO cost for healthcare in Singapore?

Four of the ten agencies publish a price for AI search work:

AgencyPublished priceSource
MediaPlus DigitalStarter GEO add-on from about S$1,000 per month; core programme from S$2,500; enterprise work customAI SEO services page
StridecGEO from S$2,500 a monthHomepage
HashmetaManaged SEO, AEO and GEO retainers at US$1,500, US$5,000 or US$10,000 a month on a 12 month minimumHashmeta AI pricing page
Mapletree MediaRetainer from SGD 4,000 a month on a 12 month term, including AI citation trackingSEO services page

Impossible Marketing's homepage FAQ gives general Singapore cost ranges (SEO from $1,500 a month for SMEs; $3,000+ for finance or legal); it does not state its own package price. The other six, Novastacks included, publish no price on the pages we fetched and quote after scoping. For a clinic the scope usually turns on the number of treatments and doctors, the number of locations, how much existing content needs rework and how much compliance review the material needs. Ask for the quote in writing with deliverables for each month, so two agencies can be compared line by line.

4. How to choose an AI SEO & AEO agency for healthcare

Most agencies describe their work in the same words, so choose on what you can check. Use the factors below on any shortlist, this one included.

Factors to consider

Use this checklist on any shortlist, this one included:

  • Healthcare proof you can open. A named healthcare client and a search result on the agency's own page. If the healthcare work is web design or social media, treat it as that.
  • Current rules. The agency should cite the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 and the SMC Ethical Code. Guidance written for the older PHMC rules needs checking against the current regulations.
  • A review step before publishing. A named person who checks every page, review widget and outbound link against the rules.
  • Engine by engine reporting. Separate results for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with the prompts used.
  • A written price. A published price or a written quote with monthly deliverables.

Questions to ask in the first call:

  1. Which healthcare clients can you name, and what search result did each one get?
  2. Who on your team reviews copy against the MOH regulations and the SMC Ethical Code, and what do they check?
  3. How do you handle patient reviews, star ratings and before and after images on our site?
  4. Which patient prompts will you track, in which AI engines, and how often will we see the results?
  5. If a page you published breaches the rules, how fast will you remove or fix it?

Red flags

  • No named healthcare client, or healthcare work that turns out to be web design or social media only.
  • No named person who checks copy against the MOH regulations and the SMC Ethical Code before it goes live.
  • A plan built on before and after photos, or on reproducing patient reviews from Google or social media, which the rules in section 1 restrict.
  • One blended AI visibility figure, with no list of prompts and no split by AI engine.
  • A promise of a ranking date or a guaranteed AI citation. Rankings change, and AI answers change from one run to the next.

5. Free tools to check any agency's work

Do not take any agency's word for its AI search results. Run its existing clients, or your own site, through these free tools first. Each gives a one time report for the site or brand you enter.

ToolWhat it does
Free AEO checkerScores a homepage out of 100 in under 60 seconds with no email needed, covering AI crawler access, llms.txt, schema, structure and citation quality
Free AI visibility trackerTests 30 to 50 buyer prompts for your market on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overview, with the report delivered in 48 hours
Free AEO auditChecks whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews recommend your brand, with the report emailed in 48 hours

6. FAQ

Which is the best AI SEO and AEO agency for healthcare in Singapore?

Novastacks is our pick for first place. It brings a published method for AI search and a primary source guide to the MOH and SMC rules, with no published healthcare case study yet. Brew Interactive, second, Hashmeta, third, and OOm, fourth, are the three agencies that show named healthcare clients with search results on their own pages.

What's the difference between AI SEO, AEO, GEO and AIO?

They overlap almost completely. AI SEO is the broad term most buyers search for. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) means being the answer an AI assistant gives, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the same idea named after generative AI, and AIO usually means optimising for Google's AI Overviews only. The label matters less than whether the agency reports results for each AI assistant.

How much does SEO or AEO cost for a clinic in Singapore?

Four agencies on this list publish prices for AI search work. MediaPlus Digital lists a starter GEO add-on from about S$1,000 per month and a core programme from S$2,500. Stridec lists GEO from S$2,500 a month, Mapletree Media a retainer from SGD 4,000 a month on a 12 month term, and Hashmeta retainers of US$1,500, US$5,000 or US$10,000 a month on a 12 month minimum. Impossible Marketing's homepage FAQ gives only general Singapore cost ranges; the rest quote after scoping.

Can a clinic show patient reviews or testimonials on its website?

Only in a narrow form. The Ministry of Health FAQ allows a clinic website to display a testimonial the patient gave directly to the clinic, and allows reviews that are organic, unpaid, unsolicited, unmodified and not reproduced. Reproducing a review first posted on Google or social media is not allowed. For doctors, the SMC Ethical Code says testimonials must not be used in advertising on any media where the doctor has any control over the content about themselves.

Can a clinic use before and after photos in its marketing?

No. The Ministry of Health FAQ says advertisements must not feature before and after, or only after, treatment photos, even with disclaimers. The SMC Ethical Code tells doctors not to use before and after, or even only after, images in medical advertising in the public domain, because anecdotal cases create unjustified expectations. A compliant clinic page explains the condition, the treatment options and what a consultation involves, using factual and verifiable information.

Is SEO itself regulated by the Ministry of Health?

The Ministry of Health FAQ says SEO is not considered advertising, because optimising content for search engines does not in itself encourage use of a healthcare service. The content that SEO promotes must still comply with the advertisement regulations, and an SEO platform that shows patient reviews and ratings counts as an advertisement. Paid search is governed by the regulations because it is paid advertising space.

Who is responsible if an agency publishes non compliant content for a clinic?

The clinic. The Ministry of Health FAQ says the onus is on the licensee to rectify or withdraw a non compliant advertisement, including one published by an authorised person such as an agency. If the agency is told and does not take reasonable steps to fix it, the agency also commits an offence. Ask any agency how it reviews copy against the rules before publishing.

Do I need a healthcare SEO consultant or a full agency?

It depends on the work needed. A consultant suits a clinic that has its own writers and wants an audit and a plan. An agency suits a clinic that needs treatment pages, doctor profiles, schema markup (code that tells search engines who the clinic and its doctors are), listings and measurement delivered every month. In both cases, ask for a named person who reviews every page against the MOH regulations and the SMC Ethical Code before it goes live.

Can ChatGPT or Gemini recommend my clinic, telehealth service or aesthetic practice?

Yes, AI assistants answer treatment questions and name providers, but each engine behaves differently on health topics. In our study of 500 queries in the US market, Google AI Overviews cited sources on 90% of health and money queries, Perplexity on 99%, and ChatGPT on 0%. A healthcare agency should therefore plan and report each engine separately.

How long does AI SEO take to show results for a clinic?

No agency can promise a date. Rankings change, and AI answers change from one run to the next, so results are reported as a range. Ask any agency for a baseline before work starts and for monthly reporting on each AI engine, so you can see movement against the questions you track.

What makes Novastacks different from other AI SEO agencies for healthcare?

Three differences. First, we publish how our method works: senior operators direct Novastacks AI Search OS across four layers, from what goes in to what you get. Second, the work is operator led by founder Tina Chu and Head of AEO Eki Riandra, a Google Product Expert. Third, each programme is configured per market and language, in English and Chinese. We have no published healthcare case study yet.
