Key Takeaways

  • Ten Singapore agencies that sell AI SEO, AEO (answer engine optimisation: getting your brand named in AI answers) or GEO (generative engine optimisation: getting cited by assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini) were compared on the same five criteria, from their own live pages, checked 28 October 2026.
  • Only two of the ten publish a case study for a business that sells to gamers: Novastacks (a game top up marketplace) and OOm (a retailer of mechanical keyboards and custom gaming desktops).
  • Novastacks is first because this is our list and our pick, and it is the only agency here with a published game top up marketplace case study. The other nine are ordered by their published gaming evidence, then the quality of their client evidence.
  • Four agencies publish a price: Stridec (GEO from S$2,500 a month), Digital Market (SEO from S$980 a month, AEO and GEO from S$2,000 a month), Canlah AI (GEO service from $1,500 a month per AI platform) and Hashmeta (retainers from US$1,500 a month). The other six, Novastacks included, publish no package price on the pages we read.
  • Gambling and casino work is outside the scope of this guide and was not used as evidence for any agency.

A game top up or digital goods marketplace lives on product searches. A player types the game and the in game currency, compares two or three shops, and pays the one that looks safe and fast. More of those players now ask ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews which shop to trust before they pay, and when the answer names a competitor, page one rankings stop turning into orders. Finding an agency that has done this work before is the second problem: most Singapore agencies that sell AI search publish no gaming work at all.

Short answer

Our picks for gaming and digital marketplaces in Singapore are Novastacks (our own agency, and the only one here with a published game top up marketplace case study), OOm (the only other agency with a gaming related case: a gaming PC and keyboard retailer) and Hashmeta (published pricing and named Shopify store results in Google search, all outside gaming). The other seven are general AI SEO agencies with no published gaming case.

1. What is AI SEO and AEO for gaming?

AI SEO is the work of getting your game top up store, marketplace or gaming shop named, and your pages cited, when players ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Copilot where to buy or which shop to trust. It builds on SEO. Google rankings still matter, because AI assistants pull many of their sources from pages that already rank well.

You will also see it called AEO (answer engine optimisation) or GEO (generative engine optimisation). Agencies use different names for the same work, so this guide uses each agency's own term.

How is AI SEO and AEO measured for gaming?

Three measures cover most of what a gaming marketplace needs to know. Ask any agency to report all three, for each AI assistant and each market, every month.

MeasureWhat it countsGaming example
AI Visibility RateHow often an AI assistant names your brand in its answer, across the player questions you trackIllustration: if ChatGPT names your shop in 7 of 20 tracked questions about where to top up in game currency safely in Indonesia, your AI Visibility Rate on ChatGPT in that market is 35%
AI Citation RateHow often the answer links to, or quotes, a page on your website as a sourceAn assistant can quote your top up page and still name another shop, so track both measures side by side
AI performance in Search Console and BingGoogle Search Console has a Generative AI performance report with impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode. Bing Webmaster Tools shows the queries where Copilot and Bing AI answers used your pages. Both are free and come from the search engines themselvesThe product and help pages that appear in AI Overviews, and the player queries that brought them there

AI answers change from one run to the next, so each player question should be checked several times and reported as a range. The 35% in the first example is an illustration only.

A digital marketplace competes product by product: every game, currency pack, voucher and gift card is its own search. Most marketplaces also run several markets at once; the one in our case study sells in Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia from one catalogue. Three things decide whether such a marketplace wins on Google and in AI answers.

The questions players ask before they buy

Players search with the exact words they see inside the game: the game name plus the in game currency, and often a buying word such as top up. Before paying, they ask whether a shop is safe, how fast delivery is, and whether it accepts the way they pay. More of them put those questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and the answer can name other shops or the official store.

Pages that answer those questions directly are the ones AI Overviews pick up. In the Novastacks case study, the editorial programme was planned around the questions players ask before they buy, and 108 of the 121 pages published in Indonesia appeared in Google AI Overviews between May and September 2026.

Marketplace trust signals

Buyers worry about scams and slow delivery, so trust decides the click. The signals that matter are visible on the page and outside it:

  • Delivery times stated per product.
  • Payment options listed for each market.
  • Reviews and help content a buyer can find before checkout.
  • Product and FAQ structured data that machines can read.
  • Mentions on the communities, review sites and guides AI assistants check before they recommend a shop.

Payment, currency and wording across Southeast Asia

Each country has its own popular games, payment methods, currencies and search habits, and a brand known at home may be new next door. A catalogue copied across markets rarely fits any of them. In the case study, the product title standard followed one pattern: the primary keyword, the in game currency and the action, one short hook, then the brand and the country. Each market used its own buying verb and payment terms. Branded and non branded searches were tracked separately per market, which is how the 194% non branded growth in the Philippines could be seen apart from brand demand.

What an agency must handle

  1. One maintained record of every product page in every market, with title, status and target keyword.
  2. A title standard per market that names the game, the in game currency and the brand.
  3. Crawling, indexing and language settings across duplicate market pages.
  4. Pages for new game releases and events, live before the search peak.
  5. Tracking of which shops each AI assistant names for the questions buyers ask in each market.

Gambling and casino businesses face different advertising and licensing rules and are outside the scope of this guide.

How these agencies were chosen and ordered

Each agency was reviewed from its own pages, checked on 28 October 2026, against five criteria:

  1. Gaming proof. Does the agency publish a case study for a game top up, digital goods or gaming marketplace, or for another business that sells to gamers, with results?
  2. AI search capability. Does it sell AEO, GEO or AI SEO as a named service?
  3. Singapore presence. Does its own site give a Singapore street address, or only a phone number or Singapore positioning?
  4. Transparency of method and pricing. Does it publish a named method, a price, both or neither?
  5. Evidence quality. Does it show a named client with quantified results, a named client without results, results without a named client, or no client results?

Novastacks is first because this is our list and our pick, and we say so here. The other nine are ordered by the strength of their published gaming evidence first: only a gaming case study counts, so gaming content without a case study, such as an influencer list, does not move an agency up. Next comes evidence quality, judged for agencies without a gaming case on their published case nearest to a gaming store (a card retailer, an online store or a marketplace build), in this order: a named client with quantified results, then a named client without results, then results without a named client, then no client results. Within the first of these, results in search come before results in social media. Hashmeta (Google impressions for named Shopify stores) and Stridec (clicks and AI Overview coverage for named stores) both show search results, so they appear in alphabetical order, and both come before BThrust (conversion and social follower growth for Genic Cards). Alphabetical order settles the rest. Agencies whose sites blocked our automated check or returned no content were left out.

Every agency on the list sells AI search as a named service, so that criterion no longer separates them. Gaming evidence does: eight of the ten publish no gaming case.

1Novastacks Operator-led. Agent-powered.

Novastacks homepage
Novastacks homepage. Visit site →

Best for: game top up, voucher and digital goods marketplaces running several Southeast Asian markets, where product titles, a catalogue record per market and AI answers all need work at once.

What's distinctive: SEO and AEO run as one programme on a published method. Senior marketing operators direct Novastacks AI Search OS, the proprietary agentic system Novastacks built for AI search, so one team brings senior judgment and execution at scale. Founder Tina Chu spent 18+ years leading growth at Tencent, Expedia, Klook, Traveloka and Cabital; Head of AEO Eki Riandra is a Google Product Expert.

Engagement model: a senior engagement lead sets priorities, checks the work and is accountable for it. Each programme is configured per market and per language, in English and Chinese, with its own set of buyer questions.

Gaming evidence: The game top up marketplace case study covers one of Indonesia's largest game top up marketplaces, also serving the Philippines and Malaysia (client name withheld). From May to August 2026, non branded clicks grew 153% in Indonesia and 194% in the Philippines. Novastacks catalogued 459 product pages across the three markets in one maintained record. Of the 121 pages Novastacks published in Indonesia, 108 appeared in Google AI Overviews between May and September. A product title standard that names the in game currency went live on Philippine and Malaysian product pages on 3 September; retitled Philippine pages already indexed earned 131% more clicks in the 17 days after the change than in the 17 days before, click through rate moved from 1.41% to 3.07%, and average position barely moved, from 2.28 to 2.12. The wider service is described on the gaming and digital marketplace AEO, GEO and SEO services in Singapore page.

3. How much does AI SEO & AEO cost for gaming in Singapore?

Four of the ten agencies publish a price. The figures below are exactly as each agency states them; no ranges have been estimated for the others.

StridecS$2,500, S$4,500 and S$8,000 a monthGEO programmes, one to three AI channels

For a marketplace, the scope drivers are catalogue size, the number of markets and languages, how much content needs producing and the technical work required. Compare quotes on those terms, and ask each agency which AI channels and markets its price includes.

4. How to choose an AI SEO & AEO agency for gaming

Use the same checks on any shortlist, this one included. Start with proof for businesses like yours, then look at method, reporting and price.

Factors to consider

  • Proof with a catalogue like yours. A top up, voucher or digital goods client, with results by market. A hardware store or a food brand is a different job.
  • Results split by branded and non branded searches. Growth from your own brand name says little about new buyers.
  • A product title plan. Ask to see the title pattern they would apply and how they would test it.
  • AI answer tracking per market. Which assistants, which questions, which countries, and how often they are checked.
  • A published price or a clear scoping basis. Catalogue size, markets, languages and content volume.

Questions to ask in the first call

  1. Which gaming or digital goods clients have you worked with, and can we see the results?
  2. How would you handle our catalogue across Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia?
  3. Which AI assistants will you check, for which buyer questions, and how will you report it?
  4. How do you separate results from brand demand and results from new buyers?
  5. What will you change in the first month, and how will we know it worked?

Red flags

  • Gaming experience claimed with no case study for a business like yours, such as a top up, voucher or digital goods marketplace.
  • Results that do not say whether growth came from your own brand name or from new buyers.
  • One catalogue copied across markets with no per market title, payment or currency wording.
  • One blended AI visibility number with no split by AI assistant or by country.
  • A promise of a ranking position, or of being named by a given AI assistant by a given date. No agency controls either.

How long does AI SEO take to show results?

No agency can promise a date, because AI answers change from one run to the next. Ask for a plan with dated measurement windows: a baseline in the first month, then the same set of player questions checked again after each round of changes, next to Search Console clicks and impressions for the same pages. The Novastacks case study measured its results over May to August 2026, and tested a title change over 17 day windows before and after.

5. Free tools to check any agency's work

Do not rely on any agency's word for its results. Run your own marketplace, and the sites of agencies' clients, through these free tools. Each report is a one time check of how things stand on the day it runs.

  • Free AEO Checker: an instant score out of 100 for your homepage in under 60 seconds, with no email needed, covering AI crawler access, page structure, schema and citation quality.
  • Free AI Visibility Tracker: 30 to 50 buyer questions for your market, tested across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overview, showing who is named and cited. The report arrives in 48 hours.
  • Free AEO Audit: checks whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews recommend your brand, with a snapshot against two direct competitors. The report arrives in 48 hours.

6. FAQ

Which Singapore SEO agency has worked with game studios or esports brands?

None of the ten agencies on this list publishes a case study for a game studio or an esports brand. The closest gaming proof is the Novastacks game top up marketplace case study and the OOm case for a retailer of mechanical keyboards and custom gaming desktops. The other eight publish general AI search work only, so ask each one for gaming references before you sign.

How should a game top up or digital goods marketplace choose an AI SEO agency in Singapore?

Choose on proof with products like yours, then on method. Ask for a case with a catalogue of digital products, results split by market and by branded and non branded searches, and a title plan that names the game and the in game currency. Then ask how the agency checks which shops ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews name for your buyers' questions.

What does an AEO or GEO agency do for a gaming marketplace that SEO alone does not?

It works on the answers as well as the rankings. SEO wins the product search on Google. AEO and GEO work aims to make your marketplace the shop that ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews name when a player asks where to top up safely. That takes trust content, structured data, mentions on the sources AI assistants check, and tracking of which shops each assistant names.

What's the difference between AI SEO, AEO, GEO and AIO?

They overlap almost completely. AI SEO is the broad term most buyers search for. AEO (answer engine optimisation) means being the answer an AI assistant gives, GEO (generative engine optimisation) is the same idea named after generative AI, and AIO usually means optimising for Google's AI Overviews only. For a gaming marketplace, the label matters less than whether the agency reports which assistants name your shop in each market.

How much does SEO cost for a gaming ecommerce store in Singapore?

Four agencies on this list publish prices. Stridec lists GEO programmes at S$2,500, S$4,500 and S$8,000 a month. Digital Market states SEO from S$980 and AEO and GEO from S$2,000 a month. Canlah AI lists its GEO service from $1,500 a month per AI platform. Hashmeta lists SEO, AEO and GEO retainers at US$1,500, US$5,000 and US$10,000 a month. The other six, Novastacks included, publish no package price on the pages we read; Novastacks quotes after scoping.

How do I get my top up store named when players ask ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews where to buy credits?

Publish pages that answer what players ask before they pay, and make trust easy to check. In the Novastacks case study, 108 of the 121 pages published in Indonesia appeared in Google AI Overviews between May and September 2026. Clear delivery times, payment options, reviews and help content, plus mentions on communities and guides, give AI assistants reasons to name your shop.

Can a Singapore agency handle SEO for Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines?

Yes, if it adapts each market. In the case study, Novastacks ran one catalogue across Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia, wrote a title standard with each market's own buying verb and payment terms, and tracked branded and non branded searches separately. Non branded clicks grew 194% in the Philippines from May to August 2026. Ask any agency for results market by market.

Do the agencies on this list cover gambling or casino brands?

This guide does not cover gambling. It ranks agencies for game top up, digital goods and gaming marketplaces only, and no gambling or casino work was used as evidence for any agency. If you run a gambling business, ask each agency directly about its policy and about the advertising and licensing rules in your markets.

Which agencies offer a free AI visibility audit for gaming brands?

Novastacks offers a free AEO audit that shows whether AI assistants recommend you or your competitors. It is a one time check of where you stand today. Ask the other nine whether they offer one, what it covers and whether it reports results for each market you sell in.

How long does AI SEO take to show results for a gaming marketplace?

No agency can promise a date, because AI answers change from one run to the next. Ask for dated measurement windows: a baseline in the first month, then the same player questions checked again after each round of changes, next to Search Console clicks and impressions for the same product pages in each market. Treat a promise of a ranking or an AI citation by a fixed date as a red flag.

What makes Novastacks different from other AI SEO agencies for gaming?

Novastacks runs SEO and AEO as one programme on a published method. Senior marketing operators direct Novastacks AI Search OS, its proprietary agentic system, and a senior engagement lead is accountable for the work. Each programme is configured per market and per language. For gaming, the evidence is a masked game top up marketplace case study measured in Search Console, the only one of its kind on this list.
