Best AI SEO & AEO Agencies for Ecommerce and Online Retail in Singapore (2026)
10 AI SEO and AEO agencies for ecommerce in Singapore, compared on ecommerce proof, AI search depth, Singapore presence, pricing and evidence.
Key Takeaways
- Ten agencies with AEO (answer engine optimisation) or GEO (generative engine optimisation) services, the work of getting a brand named and cited in AI answers, and a Singapore base, compared on five criteria (ecommerce proof, AI search capability, Singapore presence, transparency of method and pricing, evidence quality) from each agency's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.
- Novastacks is first because this is our list and our pick. The other nine are ordered by the strength of their published ecommerce evidence, then their AI search capability, then the quality of their evidence.
- Four agencies publish prices for the work on their own sites: Hashmeta (retainers from US$1,500 a month), Stridec (GEO and SEO from S$2,500 a month), Digital Market (SEO from S$980 a month, GEO retainers from S$2,000) and BestSEO (from $2,800 a month).
- Eight of the ten show a published ecommerce case study with results: Novastacks, Hashmeta, Stridec, marketingagency.sg, BThrust, BestSEO, Verz Design and OOm. Novastacks and marketingagency.sg keep the client unnamed.
An online store in Singapore now competes for the same shopper in three places: the Google results page, marketplace listings on Shopee and Lazada, and the shortlist an AI assistant writes when someone asks what to buy. A store can hold good Google rankings and still be missing from the answer ChatGPT or Gemini gives for its category. Most Singapore agencies now sell some form of AI search work, and only a few show ecommerce results to support it.
Short answer
Our pick of AI SEO and AEO agencies for ecommerce in Singapore, in order: Novastacks, Hashmeta, Stridec, marketingagency.sg, BThrust, BestSEO, Verz Design, OOm, Digital Market and Impossible Marketing. Novastacks suits stores that want catalogue, product page and AI search work traced to dated Search Console results; each entry below says who the other nine suit.
1. What is AI SEO and AEO for ecommerce?
AI SEO is the work of getting your store named, and your product and category pages cited, when shoppers ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Copilot what to buy. It builds on SEO. Google rankings still matter, because AI assistants pull many of their sources from pages that already rank well.
You will also see it called AEO (answer engine optimisation) or GEO (generative engine optimisation). Agencies use different names for the same work, so this guide uses each agency's own term.
| SEO | AI SEO (AEO / GEO) | |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Rank your product and category pages in Google and Bing results | Get your store named and your product and category pages cited in AI answers about what to buy |
| Where you show up | The list of links on a results page, including your product and category pages | Answers in ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot |
| What the work includes | Keyword research, product and category page copy, technical fixes for the catalogue, links | All of the SEO work, plus pages written to be quoted, product structured data, and mentions on sites AI assistants trust |
| How it is measured | Rankings, clicks and traffic to product and category pages | AI Visibility Rate, AI Citation Rate, and AI performance in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools |
How is AI SEO and AEO measured for ecommerce?
Three measures cover most of what a store owner needs to know. Ask any agency to report all three, for each AI assistant, every month.
| Measure | What it counts | Ecommerce example |
|---|---|---|
| AI Visibility Rate | How often an AI assistant names your brand in its answer, across the shopper questions you track | Illustration: if ChatGPT names your store in 7 of 20 tracked questions about your main category, your AI Visibility Rate on ChatGPT is 35% |
| AI Citation Rate | How often the answer links to, or quotes, a page on your website as a source | An assistant can quote your category page and still name a competitor's product, so track both measures side by side |
| AI performance in Search Console and Bing | Google Search Console has a Generative AI performance report with impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode. Bing Webmaster Tools shows the queries where Copilot and Bing AI answers used your pages. Both are free and come from the search engines themselves | The product and category pages that appear in AI Overviews, and the shopper queries that brought them there |
AI answers change from one run to the next, so each shopper question should be checked several times and reported as a range. The 35% in the first example is an illustration only.
What shoppers ask AI assistants
For a store, AI search starts with the shopper's question. Someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews which product suits a need, and the answer names a few brands and sometimes links a page. A store that is missing from that answer never enters the comparison, however well it ranks lower down the Google results.
Store owners ask the AI engines about agencies in a similar way. Queries for which our own site appeared in Google Search Console include "suggest some agencies that handle ai search optimization for e-commerce", "where can i find a geo partner for my e-commerce brand in singapore?", "how to measure aeo performance and roi for e-commerce product pages" and "is aeo worth investing in for a small ecommerce brand with a limited budget?". Another query reads like a complaint: "our online store is never named when shoppers ask ai assistants what to buy in our category." In our Bing Webmaster Tools AI performance data, "AEO vs SEO ecommerce explained" appeared 192 times as a grounding query, the most of any ecommerce query.
What an agency has to handle for a store
- The catalogue. Filters, tags, variants and pagination create duplicate URLs, and each one competes for crawl and for the same queries. Canonical and indexing rules come before any content work.
- Product data machines can read. Product, offer and review structured data, with prices and availability that match the page, so engines can quote them.
- Category pages that answer shopper questions. Category and collection pages carry the commercial queries, and they need copy that answers what shoppers ask before they buy.
- Own store and marketplaces. Many Singapore brands also sell on Shopee and Lazada, and where they do, the plan has to cover both.
- Measurement per engine. In our study of AI search as three channels, 94.2% of cited pages across 500 buyer queries appear in exactly one engine, so one blended AI visibility number hides which engine moved.
For the full store playbook, our guide to AEO for ecommerce covers product pages, reviews and the queries shoppers ask AI.

How these agencies were chosen and ordered
We started from the agencies named in two competing ecommerce agency lists for Singapore and from agencies with a live AEO or GEO service and a Singapore address. Four candidates (First Page Digital, MediaOne, Cleverly and Heroes of Digital) blocked our requests on every page we tried, so we left them out unverified. We then read each remaining agency's own pages on 28 October 2026 and looked at the same five things:
- Ecommerce proof. Does the agency publish an ecommerce case study with results, show ecommerce clients, run an ecommerce service page, or only mention ecommerce in passing?
- AI search capability (AEO and GEO). Does it sell AEO or GEO, and does it publish an AI search result, such as AI Overview citations or sessions from AI assistants?
- Singapore presence. Does its own site state a Singapore office or base, and where does the team work?
- Transparency of method and pricing. Does it describe how the work is done, and does it publish prices on its own pages?
- Evidence quality. Are results linked to named clients, to unnamed clients, or to an illustration, and do they state the measurement source and period?
The order is stated plainly. Novastacks is first because this is our list and our pick. The other nine are ordered by the strength of their published ecommerce evidence, then their AI search capability, then the quality of their evidence. Ecommerce evidence has four levels: an ecommerce case study with results, ecommerce clients shown, an ecommerce service page, and a passing mention. Within a level, an agency that publishes an AI search result comes first. Evidence quality then runs from a named client with a stated source and period, to a named client with a stated period, a named client with no period, an unnamed client, and a worked example. If two agencies are still level, the agency with more ecommerce material on its own site comes first. That places Hashmeta (five named Shopify case studies plus an ecommerce SEO page) ahead of Stridec (two named Shopify case studies), BThrust (Happy Bird, within six months, plus ecommerce and Shopify SEO pages) ahead of BestSEO (Little Red Dot Florist, within 3 months, plus one ecommerce SEO page), and Verz Design (two named Shopify Plus cases, no period stated) ahead of OOm (one named case, no period stated). The evidence type column in the table above shows where each agency sits on the first of those, and each entry under "All 10 agencies" links the pages behind it.
Three notes on what we found. BestSEO's own contact page says its Singapore address is for mail and its team is fully remote. marketingagency.sg publishes AI search results for a SaaS client and a home improvement client. Hashmeta's ecommerce case studies are published on hashmeta.ai, the site of Hashmeta AI, which describes itself as part of Hashmeta.
All 10 agencies
Every other entry has the same parts: what the agency does, its ecommerce evidence, who it suits, its pricing and one limitation. Quotes and figures come from the linked pages, read on 28 October 2026.

What's distinctive: SEO and AEO run as one programme on a published method. Senior marketing operators direct Novastacks AI Search OS, the proprietary agentic system Novastacks built for AI search, so one team brings senior judgment and execution at scale. Founder Tina Chu spent 18+ years leading growth at Tencent, Expedia, Klook, Traveloka and Cabital; Head of AEO Eki Riandra is a Google Product Expert.
Engagement model: a senior engagement lead sets priorities, checks the work and is accountable for it. Each programme is configured per market and per language, in English and Chinese, with its own set of buyer questions.
Ecommerce evidence: our game top up marketplace case study covers a marketplace serving Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia, with the client name withheld. We catalogued 459 product pages across the three markets in one maintained record. From May to August 2026, non branded clicks grew 153% in Indonesia and 194% in the Philippines. A new product title standard, live from 3 September, lifted clicks on retitled Philippine product pages by 131% in the 17 days after the change against the 17 days before, and click through rate moved from 1.41% to 3.07%. Of the 121 pages we published in Indonesia, 108 appeared in Google AI Overviews between May and September. The source for every figure is Google Search Console.
Watch outs: we do not publish prices; you get a quote after the free audit. The ecommerce case study client is masked, and there is no published Singapore ecommerce case study yet.

Pricing: published, S$2,500 to S$8,000 a month for GEO and SEO (quoted and linked in section 3).

What they do: Marketing Agency Singapore lists its office at International Plaza, 10 Anson Road (contact page). Its ecommerce marketing page says it manages marketing across Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, Shopify and WooCommerce, and frames the job as balancing a brand's own store with the marketplaces. For AI search, its Solmi.ai case study describes AEO and GEO work built on structured, factual and sourced content with clean schema, and reports 14K sessions from AI assistants, up 39,930%. Solmi.ai is a SaaS brand. Its AI marketing agency page adds that a home improvement client, D&G Flooring, "is cited in more than 79,000 AI responses across Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI".
Ecommerce evidence: a fashion ecommerce case study for an unnamed Singapore client describes a move from paid only acquisition to blended growth: organic grew to a quarter of revenue and blended acquisition cost fell 34%.

The case study, which BThrust labels eCommerce, says "Organic traffic grew by 82% within six months".

Pricing: not published on the pages we read.
Limitation: we found no AI search result or price on the pages we read.
6BestSEO: dedicated ecommerce SEO from a remote team

Its portfolio includes Little Red Dot Florist, labelled "Ecommerce, Flower Delivery", where local SEO and Google Ads "Achieved 2x return on investment within 3 months".

3. How much does AI SEO & AEO cost for ecommerce in Singapore?
Four of the ten agencies publish prices for this work on their own sites:
- Hashmeta: managed SEO, AEO and GEO retainers at US$1,500, US$5,000 or US$10,000 a month on a 12 month minimum term, scaled by output, markets, languages and the number of AI engines tracked (pricing page).
- Stridec: GEO and SEO priced from S$2,500 to S$8,000 a month, in three plans of S$2,500, S$4,500 and S$8,000 a month. The same pricing page describes the work as finding the questions customers ask Google and ChatGPT, publishing content built to be cited, and reporting monthly on where the brand is named.
- Digital Market: "SEO packages cost S$980 a month (Basic), S$2,980 a month (Premium) and S$5,980 a month (Enterprise)", with a monthly Keyword.com ranking report (SEO pricing page). Its GEO page, linked in its entry above, states retainers from S$2,000 a month.
- BestSEO: "From $2,800 /month" (pricing page).
The other six, Novastacks included, publish no package price on the pages we read; Novastacks quotes on request. OOm publishes an SEO pricing article with market ranges, and marketingagency.sg gives general ranges on its ecommerce page; neither states its own package price. We do not estimate prices for the agencies that do not publish them.
4. How to choose an AI SEO & AEO agency for ecommerce
Use the same checks on any shortlist, this one included. Start with proof for stores like yours, then look at method, reporting and price.
Factors to consider
- An ecommerce case study with results. Named is better; if the client is masked, the source and dates of every figure should be stated.
- An AI search result. Ask for at least one AI Overview citation, AI assistant mention or AI referral figure, ideally for a store.
- Platform experience. Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce or Magento, matching your stack.
- Marketplace coverage. If Shopee, Lazada or Amazon carry a large share of your sales, check that the agency works on them.
- Published method and prices. A written process and a price you can compare before the first call.
- Singapore team. If you want people in the same room, confirm where the team works.
Questions to ask in the first call
- Which ecommerce clients have you grown, and what is the source and period of each figure?
- Which shopper questions will you track, in which AI engines, and how often will you report on them?
- How will you handle duplicate URLs from filters and variants on our platform?
- Which product data and structured data changes come first, and who implements them?
- How will you measure the effect on revenue, and over what time windows?
- What does the first three months cost, and what is included?
Red flags
- An ecommerce case study that gives no source or period for its figures.
- A promise of a ranking position, or of being named by a given AI assistant by a given date. No agency controls either.
- One blended AI visibility number with no split by AI engine.
- A plan made only of keyword rankings, with no list of shopper questions to track.
- No answer on how duplicate URLs from filters and variants will be handled on your platform.
How long does AI SEO take to show results?
No agency can promise a date, because AI answers change from one run to the next. Ask for a plan with dated measurement windows: a baseline in the first month, then the same set of shopper questions checked again after each round of changes, next to Search Console clicks and impressions for the same pages. The Novastacks case study measured its results over May to August 2026, and tested a title change over 17 day windows before and after.
5. Free tools to check any agency's work
Do not rely on any agency's word for its results. Run your own store, and the sites of agencies' clients, through these free tools. Each report is a one time check of how things stand on the day it runs.
- Free AEO Checker: an instant score out of 100 for your homepage in under 60 seconds, with no email needed, covering AI crawler access, page structure, schema and citation quality.
- Free AI Visibility Tracker: 30 to 50 buyer questions for your market, tested across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overview, showing who is named and cited. The report arrives in 48 hours.
- Free AEO Audit: checks whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews recommend your brand, with a snapshot against two direct competitors. The report arrives in 48 hours.
6. FAQ
Which agencies handle AI search optimisation for ecommerce brands in Singapore?
Ten agencies with AEO or GEO services and a Singapore address made this list. Our pick, in order, starts with Novastacks, Hashmeta, Stridec and marketingagency.sg. Eight of the ten publish an ecommerce case study with results: Novastacks, Hashmeta, Stridec, marketingagency.sg, BThrust, BestSEO, Verz Design and OOm. Novastacks and marketingagency.sg keep the ecommerce client unnamed; the other six name theirs.
Where can I find a GEO partner for my ecommerce brand in Singapore?
Start with agencies that show a GEO service and an ecommerce result together. In this ranking that means Novastacks, Hashmeta, Stridec and marketingagency.sg, with Verz Design for Shopify Plus builds. Ask each one for an ecommerce case with the measurement source and dates, and for how they will report which AI engines name your brand.
How is AEO different from SEO for an ecommerce store?
SEO works to rank your product and category pages in Google results. AEO works to get your store named and cited when a shopper asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews what to buy. The groundwork overlaps: a crawlable catalogue, accurate product data and structured data. AEO adds tracking of the answers themselves, engine by engine.
What's the difference between AI SEO, AEO, GEO and AIO?
They overlap almost completely. AI SEO is the broad term most buyers search for. AEO (answer engine optimisation) means being the answer an AI assistant gives, GEO (generative engine optimisation) is the same idea named after generative AI, and AIO usually means optimising for Google's AI Overviews only. For a store, the label matters less than whether the agency reports which engines name your products.
Why is my online store never named when shoppers ask AI assistants what to buy?
Usually the assistant cannot find clear, consistent facts about your products, or it finds stronger sources about competitors. Common causes are product pages without structured data, category pages that answer no shopper question, reviews that machines cannot read, and few mentions on sites the engines trust. An audit of the prompts in your category shows which cause applies.
How much does AI SEO and AEO cost for an ecommerce brand in Singapore?
Four agencies on this list publish prices. Hashmeta lists SEO, AEO and GEO retainers at US$1,500, US$5,000 and US$10,000 a month. Stridec lists GEO and SEO at S$2,500, S$4,500 and S$8,000 a month. Digital Market lists SEO at S$980, S$2,980 and S$5,980 a month, with GEO retainers from S$2,000. BestSEO starts from $2,800 a month. The other six, Novastacks included, publish no package price on the pages we read; Novastacks quotes on request.
How do I measure AEO performance for ecommerce product pages?
Track a fixed set of shopper questions in each AI engine and record whether your brand is named or your page is cited, engine by engine. Pair that with Search Console data for the same product pages: clicks, impressions, click through rate and Google AI Overview appearances, compared over dated windows before and after each change.
Is AEO worth it for a small ecommerce brand with a limited budget?
It can be, when the scope is narrow. Pick the few categories that bring most of your revenue, fix product data and structured data there first, and track a short list of shopper questions. The lowest published entry points on this list are Digital Market's SEO package at S$980 a month and its GEO retainers from S$2,000 a month.
Does a Shopify store need special SEO work?
Yes, in a few places. Shopify, like other platforms, creates duplicate URLs through filters, tags, variants and pagination, and these need canonical and indexing rules. Theme and app limits also affect structured data and page speed. On this list, Hashmeta, Stridec and Verz Design publish named Shopify case studies, BThrust runs a Shopify SEO service and BestSEO can push changes through the Shopify Admin API.
How long does AI SEO take to show results for an online store?
No agency can promise a date, because AI answers change from one run to the next. Ask for dated measurement windows: a baseline in the first month, then the same shopper questions checked again after each round of changes, next to Search Console clicks and impressions for the same product pages. Treat a promise of a ranking or an AI citation by a fixed date as a red flag.
What makes Novastacks different from other AI SEO agencies for ecommerce?
Novastacks runs SEO and AEO as one programme on a published method. Senior marketing operators direct Novastacks AI Search OS, its proprietary agentic system, and a senior engagement lead is accountable for the work. Each programme is configured per market and per language. For ecommerce, the evidence is a masked game top up marketplace case study measured in Search Console; there is no published Singapore ecommerce case study yet.
